So, we’ve been using iPads for almost a year now in a one-to-one environment. We are lucky enough to have a Principal who is willing to go with my madness sometimes and trusts that I’ll get the results.
Initially there were a number of things that needed to be considered:
I attended a conference without my laptop to see if I would be able to do without it. Surprisingly, I had absolutely no need for it whatsoever).
Since then, I haven’t looked back. I absolutely love my iPad and find my laptop to be a frustrating time eater. The only thing I use my laptop for now is to create itunesu courses as that cannot be done on the iPad…. yet.
We decided to go with the iPads rather than any other tablet due to the iTunes Store and the availability of well-developed apps. I bought an android phone just to check it out in comparison. Worst move ever! I find the apple products to be so intuitive that it almost does the thinking for you. If you are a creative brain, then the apple products will work for you.
